A portrait session at Nitz Photography is more than just taking a picture. It’s about an experience, about getting to know you and your child, it’s about capturing special moments. While digital files are available, we are not a “shoot and burn a disk” style of studio. We are a “get to know you, help you along the way to get great portraits for your home” style of studio.

LITTLE THINGS BABY PLAN                        $350 (add a 4th session for $75)

ANTICIPATION & JOY                              $250

Session retainers are for for time and talent of photographer for studio or location* session, pre-session phone consult, image editing, online slidehshow preview of images and personal ordering session. They include immediate family members (mom, dad, kids). It does not include prints, products or digital files. Retainer is due upon booking and non-refundable (but transferable to a new session date with a 48 hour notice). *Additional fees may incur for location sessions.

SIGNATURE PORTRAIT SESSIONS

This is what we are known for: The time and patience that goes into our sessions that keeps newborns sleeping,  babies at ease, kids happy and relaxed and parents thrilled with the results. Each session is custom tailored to your needs and wants, allows for ample time to not only capture fantastic images but to snuggle with a newborn, play peek a boo with a baby or allow a toddler a little time to explore. Our Signature Session is a single session for immediate family members (mom, dad & kids) that can be completed at our home studio with multiple background and clothing changes or a local park or urban area (additional travel fees may incur).  A personalized ordering session is scheduled approximately 7 to 10 days later in which you will return to the studio to view and order your portraits. Together we will walk through the ordering process:  choosing your favorite images, deciding which images to use to create your album or storybook, designing wall galleries to compliment your decor, etc. We are there to help you every step of the way as we choose from various Portrait Collections and/or Digital Collections to help you build a package that best meets your needs (a la carte also available).

LITTLE THINGS BABY PLAN

Designed to capture baby’s milestones during his/her first year, the Little Things Baby Plan includes three (3) Signature Sessions. These milestones are typically newborn (under 2 weeks of age), “sitting up” (at 6/7 months) and first birthday (where we welcome cake smash!!). You may opt to add a 4th session to your plan for only $75 and use it as a maternity session or as an additional session for baby at the “holding head up” milestone (at 4 months). Family images and sibling images are welcomed at your sessions; however, the focus will be on baby. Our Little Things Baby Plan friends also receive a year in review CD slideshow consisting of your ordered images from the year.

ANTICIPATION & JOY

Designed for our expecting moms, the Anticipation & Joy includes two (2) Signature Sessions. One maternity session to be completed around 36 weeks and one newborn session to be completed before baby is 2 weeks of age. Maternity sessions are not scheduled alone.

NEWBORN SESSIONS

Newborn sessions are scheduled as Signature Sessions, as a part of our Little Things Baby Plan or as a part of the Anticipation & Joy. They take place at our studio only and are best photographed before baby is 2 weeks of age. Please call to book your newborn session before baby arrives to ensure availability. During your session, we work on “baby time” to include breaks for feeding, changing, rocking & general calming of the little ones. Newborn sessions may take up to three hours, so please schedule accordingly.
