Another baby planner came back to visit! I love watching these little ones grow up! So much fun to see how they have and have not changed since their previous session.
Remember this precious one?
Her big eyes and her fuzzy hair is what I remember about her newborn session… and look… she hasn’t changed a bit!

Remember him???
Well just look at him now!
Isn’t that the cutest?? We have plans to do a shot at his first birthday with the same truck!! So fun!!
And because I seem to be on a teddy bear kick these last couple weeks.
AND we were able to play with some new colored backgrounds! YAY! I was kinda scared of the orange as it is REALLY bright but it photographs very well and I am in LOVE with the orange background now! AND the green one too! Very summer like!
Mom wanted to be sure to get a shot in the new carriage too! So we did!
Soccer fans!! WOOT WOOT!!!
And last but not least this one… it needs no explanation! It’s just too funny!

Ok.. not that they aren’t all fun sessions to me really… but this one was fun for me because not only did one of my favorite little guys come to visit but big brother came along as well and brought his guitar and trombone too! So I got to play!! WHOOHOOO!!! Little brother - being the toddler that he is - wasn’t to happy about being told what to do for his session but we were able to capture some great shots of him just being his silly self and even got this great one in the wagon with the bears while eating a lollipop! 
Should have stuck an American flag in there too because for some reason this reminds me of summer and 4th of July! We even captured a great family shot too!

She’s just too precious for words!
I have to give a big shout out to dad and how great he is with his new baby girl and how much he has taken on. Mom had a few complications and couldn’t join us for baby’s session so dad brought baby girl in by himself for her portrait session. I have to say “WAY TO GO DAD” because I think it is awesome when new dad’s can take over all the responsibility of taking care of baby AND mom after delivery. Mom - I’m sad I haven’t had the chance to meet you yet but we will meet soon! Thanks for sending in your hubby and precious baby girl for her first portrait shoot! ENJOY!

Well… this session started out with me being completely and totally tinkled on. Seriously the first time I’ve been tinkled on before the session even got started. Those of you that have had a newborn session know that I get hit at least once during the session but it’s usually not before the first shot! :) It’s all good. She got it out of her system and slept like a champ for pretty much the rest of the session. Let us play with all kinds of fun hats and hair doodles (she has the prettiest hair!) She even gave us a great big grin while mom and dad were loving on her that we were able to capture. Love it when that happens!

Remember my post about this beautiful couple expecting their first baby girls?
Well they have arrived (and you know because I had to post a single peek over the weekend as I couldn’t resist!!) and they are just as beautiful as expected! And while they are both perfectly beautiful they have completely opposite personalities! I find that oh so amazing that 2 children from the same parents are so very very different. I see it in my own boys and it really baffles my mind sometimes. Kinda cool how it all works, isn’t it?
Meet baby “S” and baby “R” - can you tell which one was the knocked out, slept the whole time and didnt make a peek baby and which one is the one that wants to keep her eyes open so she doesnt miss a thing? (hmm.. sound familiar? It does to me… my kids are like that too).
And so you don’t think I’m fibbing (because really the girls did fantastic until right at the end when both mom AND dad were … umm.. “dirtied” on and then Miss I don’t want to miss anything decided to stay awake for us)… here is the shot with her eyes wide open. Isn’t this just the sweetest?

It’s been a while since I’ve photographed a 15 month old. Having had a run of newborns and little babies that just sit I think I was spoiled because man I’m beat after this morning’s session! This sweetie is finishing up her Little Things Baby Plan with me as we did her session at 4 months, then at 7ish months and tried to do right at 12 months but unfortunately she’s been so sick that we couldn’t. Tubes in the ears and apparently she’s a different kid! I’m so glad we decided to wait and get her when she was feeling herself even if that meant we missed out on the true 1 year old session.
But this girl can move!!! I blink.. she’s gone. I don’t think I’ve had this many out of focus shots in a while (see.. even us professionals get ones that are out of focus too LOL). Good news?? I learned fast and caught on to her “games” and in the end I won with some great and fun shots (and in focus too!)
See her run? Look at those feet go! She was having fun running over to me with that flower so I could smell it and “sneeze”. Just thought that was the funniest thing ever!
HAHAHA!! yes, she is actually upside-down. On the verge of a toddler melt-down so we played hard to get some smiles! She likes to swing upside-down! Who knew? (and mom has very tight hold of her legs)
Awww.. sweet smile in the split second she sat on the chair. Gotta love the attention span of toddlers! They are so full of energy. Can I have some?
And one more chair that was so much more fun to stand on and climb over than to actually sit in. But that’s ok.. makes for a better portrait I think!
