Lots of little ones celebrating their first birthdays lately!!! Actually this little guy has his birthday party tomorrow!!! He’s going to have SO MUCH FUN!!! Eat lots of cake for me little man!!!
I remember this little man from before he was even born. Mom and dad came in to do maternity portraits. The sweetest and cutest couple! I loved them from the day we spoke on the phone. Then of course we did lil’ man’s first portrait session when he was only a week old or so… see how tiny he was?? I’ve watched him grow in this last year and it was so bittersweet to be celebrating his first birthday. Seems like this year just flew by!!!
Enjoy your birthday party sweet boy!!!! We’ll see mom next week (and maybe you and grandma too)

With the start of the school year and some other issues going on at the home front I guess I’ve neglected the blog… BAD ME!!!! But that doesn’t mean I don’t have some things in the works over here ;) Been brainstorming some fun blog ideas!!! Just adding some more to the sneak peek of Mr. Birthday Cake boy from below. Had so much fun with this session! I think he had a great time too because when we were wrapping up the session I got some great hugs!!! (I think he was just so happy I gave him cake and he was wanting more) So many great images from this session I had a hard time narrowing my choices down to these as a peek. So I had this awesome session this morning with this adorable little one year old boy. We had SO much fun and I think I made a new friend for life because we had cake. I give mom credit for bringing in the cake but I swear I am the best in the world in this little guys eyes since I let him have it, dig into it and totally destroy it. It was great. Of course this was the very end of our session together and as soon as I snapped this image I KNEW I would be coming home from dinner tonight and editing to share it with you all!! A true sneak peek is still to come but this one needed a post all of it’s own. Has me laughing each time I see it!

This sweetie came to visit me recently as a new member of our Little Things Baby Plan (along with his parents). We had a blast together but man I wore him out!!! Mom said he never sleeps well and he was O U T before they hit the front door!!!

I can remember a few years ago when I first met this family and their two little ones. Little ‘N’ was only a year old and we had SO much fun at his session. I didn’t get to meet his big sister until our next session together but we have fun at every session we do together too. This one was no different - although I will admit it was one of our more “challenging” sessions (right mom???). But in the end I think we ended up with some great images of these two sweeties. Whimsical Frames - Snapshots

I can create portraits of people and kids any day but ask me to photograph something that just sits there and well - not quite as great LOL!
But I wanted to get a few snapshots of these whimsical frames on the blog so you can see them. These snapshots do not do them justice - they are absolutely adorable!!!! A few base colors to choose from and then you can add a contrasting wavy or rounded trim. Just perfecto! Great for the home, the nursery, kids rooms, hallways - the works. Would make a GREAT gift for family as well (think holidays here)
These are made from solid pine, hand painted and lightly distressed for a unique look! Each base frame is 3.5 inches wide and available in black, apple green, baby blue, vanilla, chocolate and girly pink. You can stop there or add one of 2 styles of trim - wavy is available in baby blue, girly pink, chocolate, lipstick, apple green and vanilla and the rounded trim is available in teal, lipstick, chocolate, tangerine and vanilla! Mix and match!!!
