In our last newsletter I put a call out with the need for some specific models to help me work with some new props, drops and ideas. Well… introducing a couple new backgrounds, a new prop and one REALLY cute little girl!

This is a new find! This bowl and pitcher! SO cute!

And the new drops… first being a pink and cream (along with a new cream tutu)

and a vintage look with the same drop.

And then the new blue and brown drop with the brown tutu (I think I have a think for tutus lately)

Look how awesome it even looks in black and white!

So what do you think??? Obviously this will be more for little girls. I have a little boy coming in tomorrow to play so I’ll share the new boy ideas soon. Taking some time with the boys…

It’s good to take time off now and then. Today we spent the afternoon outside playing a little ball, chasing each other around the year and going for a bike ride. Now that the boys are tucked into bed (and have been for a while) I decided I needed some “ME” time. Of course me time always involves photos (most of the time) and I was digging through my files and found some images… such as images from our Colorado trip from January (I’m working on sizing those for here next - but you can find them now on my facebook page)

Cub Scouts - and my kids

Both of my boys are Scouts. It’s hard to believe that Jason just finished up his first year as a Tiger Cub and that this coming year will be Mathew’s last year as a Cub before he moves on to Boy Scouts. I still remember the day Mathew was a Tiger Cub. OH MY! I’m getting old… shhhhh!!! Don’t tell anyone! K?

I was lucky enough to be chosen as the Pack’s photographer for their annual portraits. This time every year the boys get together for their annual Blue & Gold Ceremony where we celebrate and congratulate not only those boys moving up to Boy Scouts but the accomplishments of the rest of the boys as they move up in their ranks as a Cub Scout. It’s a proud moment for the boys AND for the parents. This year I was honored as their photographer. I cannot share all the boys but I can share mine I’m not proud or anything.

I’d be a millionaire!!!!

Toddlers wear me out. I swear they do! Ok - so while you are here it’s nothing really. I’m good to go. But after you leave and I sit down for a moment I AM WHIPPED! LOL! I do love them though. So full of life and energy. What’s not to love, right?

So this sweetie came to visit me as a part of our Model Search. OMG! I love her! She’s just the cutest little thing. We’ve been photographing and capturing her little self since she was 5 weeks old. She’s now 2 and a half. Golly time flies.

This little guy (ok, his parents) won a FREE session during our scavenger hunt a couple weeks ago. I had also had the privilege of photographing this one when he was a tiny newborn. He’s changed SO much and I was SO excited to see him. You can peek at these images and see why. Isnt he adorable? Enjoy your peek mom and dad! We’ll see you soon!
