Now that got your attention, didnt it?
This little guy came in and we had so much fun! I love it when I get to just play. We started out with "the usual" those sweet little face shots.
Then Mr. Bear came out to play for a while…. see "bear bottoms"
Then we pulled out the trusty teacup and the first thing he did was eat his toes. It was hilarious. But who could resist, right? His feet were by his face… easy access
Then we tried out the new fun bathtub prop! OH WHAT FUN!

I love working with new expecting mommies! It’s so much fun to watch as they show up.. sometimes somewhat conscientious of their ever growing belly.. and then bloom into the confident and BEAUTIFUL woman. To me there is just nothing more beautiful or miraculous that that of the pregnant woman.
This was no exception. You are truly beautiful!

I was definitely not blessed with curls. Actually - I cant think of anyone on my side of the family for generations back that had curls. It’s sad…. I want curls. Why is it that those of us with straight hair seem to want curls and those that have curls seem to want straighter hair? That has always baffled me.
Anyway.. this cutie patootie came into the studio this week and when I saw his big brown eyes and head full of curls I was very excited! We had a lot of fun playing AND we got to eat some cake too.. and play in the water with the fishy (No fish were harmed in the creating of this adorable storyboard)

I had the privilege of photographing these two sweeties last week. The whole family was just darling and great to work with. I love it when I just "click" with a family. We had LOTS of giggles and a great time and in the end we have some fantastic images of them. I’m so excited to show you the rest mom and dad… we’ll see you soon!

OK. not really.. but my internet has been down for a few days now and I swear I never realized how much I rely on it! So galleries are late, updating is late and all kinds of craziness. Yep.. it’s that time of year when I begin thinking holiday season. Believe it or not it’s just right around the corner. Yeah, I know it’s only July… but before we know it August will hit, the kids will go back to school, Fall arrives and then WHAM it’s the holiday season.
So with that in mind I’ve been working on some new holiday cards for this year. I’ll be keeping some of the popular ones from last years designs and adding a few new ones. But I began thinking and you all know what happens when I think. Yes.. long nights sitting at the computer. I figured this year I’d get everyone involved in the thinking process. The trend this year is for more blues and earth tones; either separate or mixed together. Of course there is always the traditional red and green as well. So many choices.
So I made a poll. Please choose what your favorite color scheme would be for this year. Do you want the traditional reds and greens? Maybe more modern funky bright colors? Browns and other earth tone colors? Maybe blue?
OR do you have a suggestion? I’d love suggestions. So here’s the poll with a few choices and one for "other" but if you choose the other option you must leave a comment here on the blog letting me know what your other preference is. This in no way guarantees I’ll be doing up cards in all these color variations but it gives me some ideas of what people are wanting to do this year. The trend this year seems to be a lot of browns, blues and greens mixed together…
I love the ‘wee’ ones

.. although this ‘wee’ ones isn’t as ‘wee’ as I’ve been seeing lately. He was a big boy but oh so very, very precious. I love when the little ones come in all fresh and new. Just thinking back to our session today I smile. My boys are growing up too fast for me with the youngest being 5 and the oldest turning 9 in a few months. I miss this tiny, helpless age for the most part. And nope… no more babies for those of you I know will ask I have to live vicariously through all my clients and their babies now.
This is "T". He was precious and very quiet for a 3 week old. Hardly made a peep and was pretty happy all around. Slept for about a minute but for the most part was wide awake the whole session.
Mom, dad and big sis were here too… it was a great time meeting the whole family! Enjoy your sneak peek!!! I usually dont get these up this fast but I couldnt resist showing you (and everyone)
We have a LOT more to go through at our next appointment.
