I just cant believe how fast a year goes by with these little ones. I always feel so honored that parents choose to share their child’s first year with me. This little one is no exception. I have truly enjoyed watching Miss "E" grow from a tiny newborn to a run about 1 year old. Thank you mom and dad for sharing her with me.
Miss "E" … may all your dreams, hopes and wishes come true. Happy Birthday my dear!

Sometimes I get the most silly pictures! Now obviously these are crazy ones that most of the time are not purchased. They are just fun to look at and laugh with.
This is Miss "E" and she wanted me to smell the flower or give me the flower. Only when I would get close she would pull it away. AHHH… 1 year olds.. they are great arent they??

Happy 1st Birthday to this little sweetie! I’ve had the privelage of photographing this darling little girl since before she was even born. It has been a joy and a pleasure to watch you grow this first year little "M".

Fresh Faces Finalist Voting!

It’s time to vote for the Fresh Faces!
There were be 2 winners:
Grand Prize winner: Receives a complimentary in studio session and a $100 print credit
Second Place winner: Receives a $75 print credit
Voting begins NOW and will run through Friday, June 29th at 10 PM. Please only one vote per household. Also, please refrain from posting the link to places such as myspace, etc. Keep the voting fair and with those people that actually know you and your child. Excessive and repeated votes for one image will be investigated and may result in the image being disqualified.
Winners will be announced no later than Monday, July 2 2007. Winners will then have 2 weeks to contact the studio to schedule their session to redeem their prizes. Winning sessions must be scheduled and completed by August 31, 2007. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are for the child in the winning image only.

OK.. so I cant let all the secrets out of the bag but I have loads of new and fun ideas to start offering soon. I know a lot of you have been asking about the jewelry line! It’s back starting July 1! I have a few pieces that I have made for me personally and I am in LOVE with them. The quality is great, the turn around is pretty quick and the lady that does them is just super nice. It’s been a while since the jewelry line was offered due to a problem with the vendor and I’ve been skeptical about offering it again b/c of that problem. But I’ve been chatting with this new person for a few months now and she has a LOT of neat things.
Other new items… of course we have our Fresh Faces contest. We have our Limited Edition series that starts with the Tutu’s and Teddybears on June 30th followed by Huck Finn on August 4th. We’ll be doing one for the fall and a few at Christmas and a whole list of them for next year as well.
And speaking of Christmas… be sure you read the next newsletter that goes out in July. It will have some important information about Christmas sessions, Christmas cards and cut off dates… plus a pretty neat special as well for all of you that were with me last Christmas! It’s a wonderful yet crazy time of year. I cant wait! I love it.

Huck Finn

The next in the Limited Edition series will be Huck Finn!!! I’m so very excited about this one since I have boys and this one is geared a little more towards boys vs. girls (although girls will be welcomed as well)
Right now the series is set for August 4 -5 2007! Not booking just yet but if you are interested be sure to keep your calenders open for that weekend. I’ll start accepting scheduling next week!

Fresh Faces…

The Fresh Faces entry deadline has passed. I hope you were able to get your child’s picture entered! I had such a great time opening my email to a bunch of smiling faces each day. Thanks to all of you that entered!
All of the entries are currently being judged by a panel of my peers and colleagues. I’ll be posting the top 10 here on Friday. Voting will begin Monday morning for the public to choose who the two fresh faces will be (aka: winners)

Tutu and Teddybears

I thought I would post a few samples from the upcoming Tutus and Teddybears Limited Edition session. The dates have been chosen: June 30 - July 1. Each session will include an 8×10, 2 5×7’s and a set of wallets from your favorite pose. All for only $99. Additional portraits and specialty items will be available at special prices as well!
Space is limited and appointments are required so contact me soon to book your little girls dream come true! Leotards, Tutus and slippers will be provided for the session (limited sizes available).
